It was supposed to be a day off.......

Our day in Vigeland Park and walking to and from the harbor and tram from our hotel was very tiring.  We realized we had been putting in the miles on foot, car and plane and we were exhausted and sore.  When we woke up on Saturday, it was raining, so we went to breakfast, came back to our room and went back to bed and woke up at about 2 pm.  Whew!  It was good to get caught up on sleep and just veg for a change.

The sun was shining through the window, and we were hungry so we decided to walk back to the harbor to get some food-cart lunch and the goal was to take it easy. We got Pad Thai and Red Curry from a cart and sat down by the quay to enjoy lunch and people watching.  It seemed like every street and park was crammed with people enjoying some kind of festival and to avoid the crowds we started walking around the harbor.  To our right, were boats, water, and islands and to the left a cliff with a castle on top.  When we ran into a rain squall, we took the back way up and into the castle and were soon looking down at the whole scene.  By the time we walked back to the hotel, we had put in almost as many miles as the day before.  So much for a day off.  Time for another nap!!
