Our last camping trip with Emily and Ruben was great, but we wanted a trip where everything in the camper worked. Jeff found out our battery was completely worthless and got a new one. Our plan was to leave Saturday the 1st and drive east on I-84 up the Colubia River Gorge to Pendleton and spend our first night at the Wildhorse Hotel and Casino. The next day we stocked up on gas, propane and water and finished the drive to Jon and Sharon's cabin north of Enterprise. Everything worked on the camper and we had a great time. Dad and Charlie came on Monday and Tuesday morning Dad shot an elk. We went fishing, went swimming, sat around the campfire and avoided most of the wasps and yellowjackets that were hanging around, told stories, teased each other, ate marshmallows and just had a very fun and relaxing few days. Thanks Jon for your hospitality.
Here are some pictures.
